Berlin to Hold Protest Against Lithium Mining in Serbia

A protest against lithium mining in Serbia has been scheduled for tomorrow, October 15 in Berlin. Organizers of the protest include individuals from former Yugoslavia as well as environmental activists from other parts of the world. The organizers are calling attention to the German government’s inconsistency on environmental issues wherein it prioritizes environmental protection at home but promotes destructive lithium exploitation abroad.
